Chronic pain is a major clinical challenge in Scotland and across Europe as whole. 18% of the UK population are currently affected by severe chronic pain. This has resulted significant impact on people’s quality life affects their family, relationships carers. article discusses how third sector organisation – Pain Association (PAS) completely changed approach to service delivery after 33 years result COVID-19 pandemic well they have worked with Health Boards order ensure continued which equitable, trusted provides continuity service. The discussions from perspective Director, Sonia Cottom, BA (Hons) who been for 10 ultimately responsible operations, strategic planning improvement implementation. She also advisor Scottish Government policy, providing evidence underpin future decision making.
